June 4th Talk at University of Rhode Island

Miranda Addressing Students

On June 4, 2019, I spoke to a class at the university of Rhode Island about the importance of discussing our differences.I share my experiences at URI and the importance of never settling. A special thank you to Susan for having me and to my friend Amy for spending the morning with me. Some of this is heavy, some of it is lighter, but we need to talk about the negative experiences to get to the good stuff. Together, let’s raise the bar on blind students graduating college. Photos from this talk include me talking to students.I have a pink shirt with flowers on it. Thanks for listening to my talk and I hope it changes how you see people with disabilities.
